Other Benefits

Increased Sociability

For anyone who is shy and introverted it can be incredibly beneficial to have a pet because it can increase their confidence and give them more opportunities to be social with others.

Dogs have to be exercised every day and because if this you will need to go outdoors and be among other people.

Dog owners are a sociable bunch so you will likely make some new friends just from having a pet in your home. This can help confidence a lot and allow you to be able to talk to more people.

More Exercise

One of the main benefits to your health with having an animal is all the extra exercise you will get every day.

Some breeds of dog will need up to 3-4 hours of walks a day to keep them fit and healthy, which means you will need to take yourself out of the house to give them what they need.

This will give the benefit of helping you stay healthy and fit, and will also release positive hormones into the brain to make your happy.
