Many of us struggle to incorporate this into our routines. Not only are we busy at work, but we tend to have hectic social schedules, and little time to ourselves.

When we have a moment, we want to kick our feet up and relax – not start sweating our socks off. But exercise is essential and it’s about time that we all incorporate sufficient amounts of it into our routine.

One of the more fun or palatable forms of exercise for many people tends to be cycling. So, let’s focus on that for now! RIDING A BIKE FOR HEALTH, BECAUSE WE ARE SO WORTH IT!

When you choose a type of bicycle to implement into your personal workout regime, you generally have one of two broad choices – a standard bicycle or a static bicycle.

You can ride a standard bicycle anywhere, whereas a static bicycle remains where it is place. Now, there are pros and cons to each. Static bicycles have the advantage of allowing you to work out regardless of weather conditions.

It could be raining, snowing, or icy outside and it wouldn’t make any difference to you – you will be working out indoors and gaining the same benefits as if you were outdoors. A standard bicycle, on the other hand, allows you to feel the wind blowing through your hair and can make each workout an adventure.

You can see new landscapes, go places you might not go otherwise, and even make a social event of your exercise regime. Now, cycling outdoors can prove to be more dangerous, as you will be using the same roads as other vehicles.

If you experience an accident with a bicycle, you should contact a lawyer. However, following basic safety steps such as using cycle lanes, knowing how the roads work, and wearing and fitting your bicycle with adequate safety equipment should help to minimize chances of accident or injury.

But the joy of riding a bike for health benefits is not about anything other than the joy and exercise it can give to you. .ANd wow that sense of freedom too yes?

As you start cycling, you’ll slowly start noticing the benefits that it has for your overall health and well being. You will start to gain stamina, you will develop muscle in your quadriceps and hamstrings, and your balance will improve.

Cycling is also a great way for you to work out, as it places less pressure on your joints than activities such as jogging or running tend to – the cycling motion is smoother and impacts on the joints less.

If this all sounds good to you, it may well be time to start cycling yourself. Choose your static or standard bicycle and get going! You’ll start feeling results in no time!

Just remember to go easy to start with and to cycle harder or for longer gradually to ease yourself into your new routine!

SUMMARY, RIDING A BIKE FOR HEALTH!

I don’t know about you, but as a child one of my favorite activities was riding my bike. I loved the total freedom of it. Remember being able to go fast down a hill and feeling the wind? Oh wow, great feeling yes? So as an adult though many of us have given up bike reading. And I wonder why, when we so used to enjoy it?

One of my daughters is an avid bike rider, and in fact her son at 5 years old can now do 10 miles on his bike at a time. Wow! So hopefully he will grow up knowing how healthy and fun that is.

For us using a bike as we get older is truly helpful because there is no extra stress but on our bones. But yet we still get a great aerobic benefit.

So get out there. Don’t just remember how it used to feel.. jump on a bike now.. and get that riding a bike for health is also beyond fun! Just don’t over do the first time you ride, ok?

You are worth it. Go laugh and ride! and feel that wind through your hair!
