How You Can Help Your Health In The Smallest Of Ways

So many times in my own healing process, I so often was told our health comes first. For me this was a bit of a challenge. I did not want to believe that my body was in charge.
I thought I could just will things to happen without giving my physical robe the honor it deserved. Very slowly I have been making the changes that bring peace to my physical being.
That might sound odd to say. But it is our daily reality.  We have all noticed that when we do not pay attention to our body, WHAM, we are laid out flat…yes?
So let’s talk about what we need to be vigilant about in keeping our bodies in peace and vibrant health.

When it comes to health, you’re probably sick of being told that you have to change your lifestyle, try new things, and generally become someone that you’re not.

 And so you should be. You are who you are, and you love your life, so why would you want to turn it upside down to become the health freak that you’re not?

But at the same time, you want to make sure that you are healthy, right? No one wants to feel like their lifestyle choices are harming them.

Sometime we need to use active listening to our bodies to insure we are hearing what is needed to better health.. how would you rate your ability to active listening to your body?

So wouldn’t it be great to be able to make some really small changes, and see what difference they can make to how you feel in yourself.

Because that’s what really matters! Let’s take a look at what those small changes could be.

Consciously De-stress

First of all, you’re going to want to ensure that you make the conscious effort to avoid stress. Its funny, because we accept that stress is a normal part of life these days.

But stress is destructive and harmful, and it can really do your health damage in the long run. But why? So instead of accepting that stress is a part of your life, you’re going to want to do what you can to avoid it, or counteract it at least.

Switching off after work is important for this, and making the most of your weekends. Because a stress-free life is a healthy life.

And I have found my go to is meditation. So even if you do simple breathing awareness 3 times per day, you will see wonderful changes.

Try this: it can be done anywhere. Just take three deep breaths. Let each one out slowly. Then see your breath loving each part of your body. See the glow and joy.Feel the shift? Yeah, it really works. You feel lighter and easier. And its portable, no equipment necessary! grin.

Easy fix to de -stress any moment that feels overwhelming.

Get Enough Sleep

Next on the list is sleep. Whether you realize it or not, sleep is super important for your health. When you sleep, your body repairs. It also gives you energy.

Meaning that if you get around 7-9 hours of quality sleep at night, you’ll feel strong, energized, and healthy the next day. And isn’t it going to be so easy (and enjoyable) to start prioritizing your sleep? No crazy changes here – just something that’s great for your health.

Watch Your Waistline

From here, you’re also going to want to think about your weight. Not in an unhealthy way or even in terms of your size, but in terms of your health.

Because if you’re eating bad and putting on loads of weight, you know it will put straight on your health.

Yes there are non invasive fat removal options to consider to help you look good, but that’s not enough. You actually have to be healthy too.

Get Your Heart Going

If you hate exercise, then don’t go running or waste money on a gym membership. Instead, look to get your heart rate up in different ways.

Having fun with friends, doing classes, and even a bit of deskercise (yes, it’s a thing) could be all it takes to help your health.

Drink More Water

Finally, you also need to make sure that you’re drinking more water. No exception to this one people!

Water keeps you hydrated, makes your skin clear and radiant, keeps you fuller for longer (aka stops crazy cravings) helps digestion, and that’s just the start of it. So no fads needed, just staying on top of your water can help!


It took me a bit to realize that changing my lifestyle was no longer a choice. And when I did, guess what? Life altered to a space that is joyous and filled with loving.

So hearing the words its time to change your lifestyle, is truly the opening. We are not losing anything when we make lifestyle changes. In fact, it is just the opposite. We gain new perspective, new energy and health that sustains us.

So please do these simple things. Your body will thank you and your world will flow so easily.

And it takes great courage to know that if we are ready to be the master of our own Universe. We stand up then for the ability to become completely accountable.

Don’t be surprised when your world is so much fuller…you gained everything!

After all, it is so very true. We have nothing, if we do not have our health. So go out and be the crusader for yourself and your body. Know that each step you take to provide healthy comfort, your body will in turn thank you !

    The one hit me on is drinking lot of water because this was often said I do know the importance but I fail to implement. Many times I start and within few days it fades away but this is again a good reminder for me gonna start implement it again. Thanks for the valuable information.

  2. Hi Ariel, I really like that you say to make “small” changes. This sounds so much easier than trying to cold turkey make complete changes that are way out of our comfort zone. I am still struggling to get a decent amount of sleep, woke up feeling oh so very sick, my sinuses have been an issue since forever. So some days are worse than others. But I feel alright this evening, hopefully will be better tomorrow too. Thanks for sharing.

    1. Hello Tara, I am always so happy to have you pop by! I know the small changes lead us to new paths. Its just starting that gets us going, yes? I am sorry you are having sleep and sinus issues. NOt much fun! Have you tried thyme and sage in tea for your sinuses? it really helps ..and some turmeric in your food to cut down on inflammation.
      And since we are in business we are also wanting to plow through time, without taking time for self care. I know I did it to extreme. So now.. I am on a timer to get my stuff done and then breaks. And sleep has to be a specific bedtime.
